- have you ever looked at waves caused by boat wake lap on the shore of a lake or river and thought "If I was an ant I could be totally barreled on that !"
- did you watch the beach landing sequence on "Saving Private Ryan" and decide what board would be best for the onshore waves battering the landing craft ?
- do you know that the waves supposed to be Bells in "Point Break" was not only going the wrong way (it was a left) but was reversed stock Waimea footage ?
- have you washed you clothes in "Surf" washing powder just because its called surf ?
If you answered yes to any of these questions then you'll probably look at this picture from the Mars orbiter and think "That looks like a nice point break." Thats what I thought anyway.
